Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban painted himself into a corner during a Thursday morning appearance on ABC’s “The View,” and his attempt to escape only made things worse.
Cuban, in an effort to portray former President Donald Trump as weak and insecure, instead managed to insult all the women who had ever worked closely with or appeared alongside Trump when he claimed that the former president never surrounded himself with “strong, intelligent women.”
The backlash was swift, prompting Cuban to “clarify” his statement — claiming that he only meant Trump didn’t allow “strong, independent women” to be around him when he might be “challenged publicly” — just hours later.
