Voters in eight states on Tuesday considered constitutional amendments to ban noncitizens from voting.
Measures were on the ballot in Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, and were projected to pass as of 2 a.m., Fox News reported.
Bloomberg and The Associated Press reported shortly before 9 p.m. that Amendment 1 had passed in Kentucky.
Wisconsin, which was considered a battleground in the presidential race and in its Senate race, voters approved a similar measure before 11:30 p.m., The Chicago Tribune reported.
Missouri voters reportedly approved Amendment 7 shortly after midnight.
