Burglars Broke Into Windsor Castle Estate Near Home Of Prince William And Kate Middleton

Masked burglars broke into farm buildings on the Windsor Castle estate owned by the royal family, where Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton, and their three children live in a nearby residence, police confirmed on Monday. 

The news broke in the British tabloid The Sun. According to the outlet, the two burglars were able to breach a six-foot fence around the property in their quest to gain access to the farm equipment. They reportedly used a stolen vehicle to crash through the security gate on their way out.

The British heir to the throne is believed to have been at Adelaide Cottage with his family, including Kate and Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, when the intrusion occurred. His father, King Charles III, and his wife, Queen Camilla, are known to stay on the property but were traveling at the time of the incident.
