I thought it was hilarious that Joe Scarborough–Mourning Joe, I call him–and his ice-queen wife had to admit that they slunk to Mar-a-Lago to kiss Trump’s ring.
They had to do it because their ratings were in free fall, and Comcast was talking about selling off MSNBC at fire sale prices. As Ed wrote earlier today, Comcast is pulling the trigger on that idea, and the talking heads at MSNBC are scared witless.
It was total humiliation for them, and on Monday Joe and Mika produced what amounted to a hostage video where they spent over 10 minutes pretending that they stormed into Mar-a-Lago to speak Truth To Power™, when in fact they were trying to save their paychecks.
