As we reported, the Rev. Al Sharpton (or the “Very Rev. Al Sharpton” as some like to joke) pulled in a cool $500K for his nonprofit from Kamala Harris’ campaign shortly before he sat with the vice president to conduct a fawning interview with her.
He did not disclose these donations to his viewers or to his network, MSNBC, which issued a statement saying they were “unaware” of the bribe donation. They did not say whether they would take any action against him. Who needs journalistic ethics when you’re MSNBC?
Now, an insider from the outlet is speaking out. The whole thing was “weird,” he argued:
