President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead to the FCC, Brendan Carr, said during an interview over the weekend that he was focused on ending censorship on social media.
Carr made the remarks during a Sunday interview on Fox News while talking about Trump’s transition team.
“First of all, I think President Trump and his transition team is really just knocking it out of the park with these picks,” he said. “They’re putting a broad variety of people that represent President Trump’s unique coalition. Washington, D.C., doesn’t like it. And I think that means that he’s doing exactly right.”
He said that his first goal is to get in with Trump and make sure he understands fully the agenda that Trump wants him to implement.
