For years, we’ve been told that recycling is the best way to keep the planet healthy and reduce pollution. Even as a child, I can remember that being impressed upon me in school, with more than one guest presentations, including songs, being taught to us to get it firmly in our heads that we need to recycle. To this day, I still feel guilt when I don’t put a little blue bag of plastics out during trash day.
