A Venezuelan migrant was charged and arrested after he allegedly lit his house on fire while his three children were trapped inside the building.
Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, a 46-year-old Venezuelan national, is alleged to have purposefully lit his home on fire while his three children, ages 15, 15, and three were trapped inside the Fulshear, Texas, residence, located just outside of Houston.
The two 15-year-old children escaped the inferno before authorities arrived, with police officers rescuing the three-year-old child. The child had to be airlifted to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and has since been released from the hospital. Pulgar sustained minor injuries in the fire.
Pulgar was arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of arson and is now being held in Fort Bend County Jail with a bond of $2.25 million. Immigration and Customs…
