It’s another good morning for President-elect Donald Trump with the news Thursday that the Georgia Court of Appeals disqualified Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from her election interference case against the president-elect.
“While we recognize that an appearance of impropriety is generally not enough to support disqualification, this is the rare case in which disqualification is mandated and no other remedy will suffice to restore public confidence in the integrity of these proceedings,” Brown and the other appellate jurists contended.
The judges underscored that booting Willis from the case would help resolve the “odor of mendacity.
While they didn’t dismiss the indictment, they did say that none of her assistants had the authority to proceed as well since their power “is derived from the constitutional authority of the district…
