ABC News personality Sunny Hostin sparked a wave of backlash on Monday when she claimed that January 6th was among the worst moments in American history — and proceeded to compare it to “World War II, the Holocaust, and chattel slavery.”
Hostin claimed on “The View” that “you don’t move on” from the riot that took place on Capitol Hill on January 6th, 2021: “You don’t move on because January 6th was an atrocity. It was one of the worst moments in American history. And when you think about the worst moments in American history like World War II, things that happened like the Holocaust, chattel slavery.”
