There’s a developing — and highly concerning — story out of southern California Tuesday as dry conditions and high winds have helped fuel a massive wildfire in the Pacific Palisades area.
LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – The entire community of Pacific Palisades is being told to “evacuate now” due to a rapidly spreading wildfire in the Los Angeles area.
The Palisades Fire was first reported around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of North Piedra Morada Drive. By 2:10 p.m., the fire had exploded to 700 acres and was expected to keep growing.
“Fire is burning westward near the Pacific Palisades Highlands community with Rustic Canyon to the East & Topanga Cyn to the West are all under Evacuation warning,” Scott said.
What’s worse is that the fire is thought to be in its early stages, with winds forecast to increase considerably Tuesday evening.
