One of the leading issues that Americans voted Donald Trump back into office for was to close the southern border and deport millions of illegal immigrants that the Biden administration has allowed into the country. Trump and his Border Czar, Tom Homan, have plans to do just that. Already, blue cities and states have vowed to fight the incoming Trump administration’s efforts. But while they fancy themselves as the “resistance,” shelters in those cities and states are filling up not only with illegal immigrants but also rampant crime.
Can someone please explain to me why 158 House Democrats would vote AGAINST a bill that would deport illegal immigrants convicted of a sexual offense or conspiracy to commit such a crime?
