When a political party loses a major election, post-mortems quickly turn into doubling down, and the Democratic Party has traveled that predictable path in record time since getting gut-punched in November.
For about a week following the election of now-President Donald Trump, there were some rumblings that a course correction might take place. A few Democrats even spoke openly about backing away from transgender ideology and attempting to reconnect with the working class.
