Ricky Gervais torched the winners of the 97th Grammy Awards who used their time on the show to give political speeches about things like DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), transgender issues, and illegal immigrants.
In the post on X on Monday, the 63-year-old comedian and actor shared a screenshot of the message he gave celebrities in January of 2020 — when he last hosted the Golden Globes — and told stars, “You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything.”
