This is Day Four of the Great Mexican Flag-Waving Illegals Protest movement in Los Angeles. And I’m calling it a ‘movement’ because it’s not going away, certainly not through any efforts in evidence of their grinning gargoyle of a mayor, the risible Karen Bass, or a concerned chief executive of the state intervening, Governor Gavin Newsom, aka Randall Flagg-lite.
The two elected progressive main stooges in this open-air theater drama are heavily invested in the mob in the street and are loathe to intervene on behalf of *checks notes* taxpaying citizens or legal residents who might have jobs to get to, children to pick up from school, deliveries to make, or emergencies that need speedy ambulance and fire response.
