Scott Jennings, CNN’s resident Republican truth teller and creator of hilarious sound bites, got more than he bargained for Monday as he traveled through Washington, DC’s Union Station.
Union Station is a travel hub located just a few short blocks from both the U.S. Capitol and the DC bureaus of big networks like CNN and Fox News. On any given day, you’ll see elected officials and media personalities passing through Union Station either on their way to catch a train or making their way over to the Hill. It’s a busy place, but it has fallen into disrepair in recent years and has, as have many parts of DC, attracted the criminal element.
