Vice President JD Vance and his family spent the day in France, where Vance met with world leaders and delivered remarks at the Artificial Intelligence Summit.
In his remarks, Vance portrayed the United States as the global leader of “one of the most promising technologies we have seen in generations.”
“This administration will continue to ensure that American AI technology continues to be the gold standard worldwide,” he said. “And we are the partner of choice for others, foreign countries, and certainly businesses, as they expand their own use of AI.”
French President Emmanuel Macron, outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the conference, along with several tech executives.
