Israel is reportedly considering carrying out “significant strikes” against Iran’s nuclear sites this year, according to an analysis from U.S. intelligence agencies.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the analysis, which was done during the final days of the Biden administration, concluded that Israel is looking to take maximal advantage of Iran’s weakened state.
A subsequent report created after Trump took office produced similar findings, the report said.
Officials familiar with the report said that it indicated Israel believes President Donald Trump is far more likely to support Israel’s decision to take out the nuclear sites than former President Joe Biden.
