New legislation would require the Department of Homeland Security to notify Congress of crimes committed by illegal aliens that the Biden administration paroled in the country.
Rep. Morgan Luttrell, R-Texas, introduced the Criminal Illegal Alien Report Act on Thursday. The bill, if passed and signed into law, would require DHS to “to report to Congress on crimes committed by individuals who were previously admitted into the United States under the Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans, or any other grant of parole, who have committed crimes, including their nationalities and ties to terrorists and transnational criminal groups,” according to a press release from the Texas lawmaker’s office.
