Over the course of the entire Biden administration, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California charged 128 illegal immigrants with the crime of illegal reentry. It has already matched that less than two months into President Donald Trump’s term.
Joseph McNally, the acting U.S. Attorney for the district, told The Daily Wire that he’s already charged 126 illegal aliens for reentering the country after previously being removed. He said this is more charges on this crime than the office has ever charged for the crime in a single month in its history.
McNally says there was no shortage of potential offenders in Los Angeles and the six other California counties the office covers, but the previous leadership had no interest in enforcing immigration laws.
