The brother of singer Ariana Grande, Frankie Grande, was recently mugged in New York City after he was struck in the back of the head, according to law enforcement.
Authorities said the 39-year-old social media personality and sibling of the pop singer was walking in Midtown Manhattan last Wednesday when he was attacked by two teens, the New York Post reported.
Police said after Grande was hit, the attackers allegedly took off with his iPhone, AirPods, Louis Vuitton bag, sunglasses, and wallet.

The accused teens were later caught after reportedly trying to use the Grande’s credit card at a nearby shop, the outlet noted.
Police said when the teens were taken into custody, they were caught with a razor blade and an imitation pistol.
The 13 year old and 17 year old have since been charged with robbery, grand larceny, unlawful use of a credit card, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of the stolen property, menacing, and harassment, the police shared. No names have yet been released.
The singer’s brother reportedly refused medical attention at the scene. Frankie later shared a message on his Instagram Story thanking fans for their support and love.
“Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers,” Grande wrote. “I am so thankful to be safe and healing. Keep shrinking bright and stay safe out there.”
Ariana has not made any public comments on her social media accounts about the alleged attack on her brother.
News of the mugging comes amid a rise in crime in New York City and across the country, as The Daily Wire previously reported.
