Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is, to put it as politely as possible, a real piece of… work. He’s never seen a tax he wasn’t in favor of; he defines “bipartisanship” as “Republicans do what I tell them to, and nothing more,” and now he’s about to shut the government down, or at least give it his best old college try. Because shutting the government down is only bad when Republicans do it.
