He may not be the flashiest member of President Trump’s new Cabinet, but Secretary of State Marco Rubio is likely to prove to be one of the most consequential figures of Trump 2.0. This was always going to be the case due to the fact the Biden administration handed Trump some serious hot garbage on the foreign affairs front, but Rubio’s role has come into sharp focus with the Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations and, now, the case of raging antisemite “college student” Mahmoud Khalil.
Rubio always brings a calm demeanor and head full of facts, something that is much-needed as Democrats and their leftist foot soldiers wail and gnash their teeth over a pro-Hamas thug like Khalil getting his comeuppance. Let’s rewind a bit.
