Harvard University Offers Free Tuition For Families Making Less Than $200K

Harvard University announced this week that it would offer free tuition for any student attending whose family makes less than $200,000 a year starting in the 2025-26 academic year.

Additionally, the institution said that students enrolled whose families have an annual income of $100,000 or less will be offered free housing, food, and health services.

Currently, it costs $56,550 a year to attend the school. Adding housing, food, and health services brings that total to $82,866, per the university.

“Putting Harvard within financial reach for more individuals widens the array of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that all of our students encounter, fostering their intellectual and personal growth,” Harvard University President Alan M.
