I am convinced that senior political correspondent and former George W. Bush staffer Scott Jennings is the sole reason why anyone watches CNN. The humorless scolds with the heavy pancake makeup and the condescending demeanor are not a draw, and when they do nothing much but spout and affirm Democrat and Leftist talking points (but I repeat myself), it’s easy to flip the remote to something more compelling–like the latest marathon of “Law & Order.”
But Jennings’ Tuesday night exchange with Neera Tanden on CNN’s “NewsNight” was definitely must-see TV. If you’re unfamiliar with who the heck Neera Tanden is, here’s a refresher.
