SCOTUS Hands Trump a Major Win on Use of Alien Enemies Act to Deport Some Illegals – RedState

The Supreme Court handed President Trump a signal victory over a federal judge who has become Trump’s nemesis and a darling of the anti-Trump left. In a 5-4 decision with Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, Jackson dissenting and Justice Barrett dissenting in part, the Supreme Court ruled that President Trump could use the Alien Enemies Act to remove Venezuelan gang members, vacated all orders by the self-important Judge James Boasberg, and, as if to signal it didn’t want to hear any more about this case from this judge, it said “venue is improper in the District of Columbia.”
