There were a pair of Supreme Court rulings handed down on Monday that tilted in favor of the Trump administration. The first was regarding the ruling in a Maryland court to have Kilmar Abrego Garcia returned to the United States from the El Salvador prison to which he had been deported. The Court issued a stay on that ruling. Then later we saw SCOTUS uphold the use of the Alien Enemies Act by the administration in its deportations of foreign gang members.
These were a pair of huge wins for the Trump administration – not that you would have picked up on it from the Outmoded Media complex. Revealingly, the press that had been in hyperactive full-throated bleating over these initial court rulings have been modestly muted on the SCOTUS decisions. This explains so much that is wrong with our news industry in this country.
