The Kennedy Center just broke its all-time attendance record for a public event it hosted on March 29 despite a massive outcry and multiple protests staged by leftists who are upset that Donald Trump took it over after winning the presidency.
EARTH to SPACE: Arts Breaking the Sky fireworks show set a new mark when 11,000 people showed up to see it, per a report from the Daily Caller.
A Kennedy Center representative mentioned that 76% of all attendees at the event were first-time visitors. It was open to the public and offered free first-come, first-serve tickets, with a special VIP experience available to the first 800 people who signed up to attend.
