Having just written a lengthy, sentimental Caregiver’s Diary entry on the VIP side about birds and bird feeders, our winged friends are top of mind for me at the moment, which seems fitting when one considers an eye-opening moment that happened on the Fox News channel Friday morning.
During a live “Fox and Friends” broadcast, the network’s senior White House correspondent, Peter Doocy, was just helping wrap up a segment on the latest Trump tariff news and a Truth Social post from the president about how Mexico allegedly owes Texas water thanks to a 1944 water treaty when a somewhat large bird briefly landed on Doocy’s head.
Doocy was understandably shocked and even more so after the bird flew back around and made a second attempt.
