CNN’s Harry Enten is a data nerd, so he gets excited when he sees big moves in the numbers.
I suspect it hasn’t been thrilling CNN when a lot of those numbers have been going in the direction of President Donald Trump and the Republicans.
Enten just dropped “one of the most shocking pieces of poll data I truthfully have seen this year, or maybe in any prior year.” He then spoke about the “cares more about the needs of people like you” question, explaining how this question has always tended to favor the Democrats, looking at 2005, 2017, and even in 1994 (a big Republican year), by double digits. But not anymore.
