Almost since the day Elon Musk started becoming a regular in Trumpworld, the media has been salivating over the prospect of a nasty fallout between the two billionaires—and they’ve been doing everything in their power to make that happen. They’ve run blaring headlines about a supposed rift between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Musk, stories about the SpaceX and Tesla founder being thrown out of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), rumors about how the “bromance is growing cracks,” ad nauseum.
The two moguls have repeatedly swatted aside such rumors, however, and on Saturday night, Elon attended UFC 314 in Miami with the president and his extended entourage. They seem pretty chummy for people who can’t stand each other.
