Meghan Markle is getting dragged for her over-the-top arrival to a Broadway show, with critics calling her four-car motorcade through Manhattan “ridiculous.”
The Duchess of Sussex attended a showing of the revival of “Gypsy” last week escorted by three other vehicles, both to hold her security personnel and to serve as decoys. Page Six reported that Markle hired former Secret Service agents as part of her private security detail and that the unmarked vehicle, which belonged to the New York Police Department, carried two intel detectives.
One paparazzi photographer described Markle’s measures as total overkill. The unnamed source said her motorcade stunt was “absolutely abnormal.”
