Former Vice President, failed Democratic presidential candidate, and climate extremist Al Gore—or as many like to call him, “Al Bore”—appeared on comedian/pundit Bill Maher’s program Friday night, but he probably didn’t get the welcome he expected. Perhaps he failed to notice that in recent times Maher, although still a committed leftist, has been making a certain amount of sense and is unafraid to challenge progressive orthodoxy. The reason is simple: Maher sees that the far left has lost the plot and won’t win crucial future elections with their antics.
Gore, like seemingly all Democrats, compared Donald Trump and his followers to Nazis in a recent speech. Maher has seen and heard enough of that malarkey:
