Sheryl Crow attempted to win liberal points by touting her daily activism against Republicans. However, there’s just one problem: It’s looking like it’s not exactly true.
During a cover story for Variety magazine’s “Power of Women: Nashville,” the 63-year-old singer talked about the challenges of being a liberal living in Tennessee, where she said every day she calls her representatives, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Ten) and U.S. Representative Andy Ogles (R-Ten) to make her voice be heard.
“Tennessee is a hard place for me,” Crow said. “I mean, I struggle. I call my representatives [in Congress] every single morning — Andy Ogles and Marsha Blackburn hear from me every day — because we have to stand up and be vocal and fight for the future for our kids.”
