The Department of Homeland Security is still looking into the incident on Friday at the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey where they say three House Democrats were involved in trying to “storm” the facility.
DHS said in a statement after the incident Friday, “These members of Congress storming into a detention facility goes beyond bizarre political stunt and puts the safety of our law enforcement agents and the detainees at risk.”
Democrats claim they didn’t assault anyone and didn’t storm the facility.
