The Secret Service will be visiting James Comey after the former FBI director posted a picture of shells laid out on the beach reading “86 47” … which translates to “Murder Trump.” “86” is a slang term for “murder,” while 47 refers to the 47th president.
Comey captioned his Instagram post, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.”
Not cool, given how close President Donald Trump came to being murdered twice last summer.
The disgraced FBI director deleted the post after an immediate outcry, including condemnation from Donald Trump Jr.
Comey then posted, “I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I thought was a political message. I did not know some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me but I am against violence of any kind so I took the post down.”
