President Donald Trump’s nuclear signing event in the Oval Office made headlines, but one moment that stood out was when his phone kept ringing seconds after he slammed Apple for making iPhones overseas.
On Friday, Trump signed several executive orders designed to spur nuclear energy. Each one is dedicated to helping “reduce dependence on foreign technologies and invigorate our domestic nuclear industry,” RedState reported.
“This is a huge day for the nuclear industry… This is going to turn the clock back on over 50 years of regulation of an industry,” Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum said at the signing.
