The first time that many of us had heard of non-binary Department of Energy official Sam Brinton was when he was charged with stealing a woman’s suitcase full of expensive female clothing at a Minneapolis airport. (No, I am not going to refer to Brinton as “they.”) That case hasn’t been fully resolved yet, but now the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition has been accused of heisting another woman’s suitcase full of clothes at a Las Vegas airport.
