CNN Reports Poll Showing Largest Economic Dissatisfaction in 37 years

On Monday’s Inside Politics on CNN, anchor John King allowed a random act of journalism to slip through into his show when he brought up a devastating poll for President Joe Biden and his 2024 reelection prospects should he eventually decide to run for reelection despite the fact that he will be eighty-two years old when he starts his second term.

During a panel discussion on Biden’s upcoming state of the union address on Tuesday, King noted that Biden is acting like everything is great in the country and the economy is just humming along which is becoming a liability since Americans rightly believe the economy is in terrible shape.

“Part of the problem and the President gets this because he talked about this in the last midterm campaign, and prior Presidents have—you can’t tell people you’re doing better,” King candidly noted. “People have to feel it. And if you look at this poll, are you worse off financially since the president took office?”

King then put up a graphic that showed the results of the new Washington Post/ABC News poll.

“This is in the Washington Post/ABC poll. That’s the highest number they’ve been polling for 37 years and 41 percent of Americans say they’re worse off since the President took office,” King said.

Recalling a famous line from President Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign against then-President Jimmy Carter, “that’s the old Ronald Reagan question running for reelection. Do you feel better off than you were four years ago? So that’s a tough one,” King added.

You know the political and economic atmosphere for Biden is bad when even CNN is forced to report on bad news. Most of the time they are the main stenographers for the Biden administration and the Democrat Party.
