My take on the night: if anybody watched the speech, Huckabee Sanders stole the show and won the night. I doubt anybody watched it though. She was smart, articulate, brief, and compelling. She had a simple message: stop the insanity and return to normalcy. This is an ironic message from somebody who was a spokesman for Trump, but she pulled it off extremely well. Her story about visiting Iraq with Trump was a tearjerker and seemed quite sincere, while Biden’s stories were shorter and seemed more pro forma.
