Bold move. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) became the first Republican to publicly endorse Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for president Wednesday. DeSantis hasn’t officially launched a campaign to win the Republican nomination but he is expected to do that when the Florida Legislature’s session is over.
