BREAKING: Federal Prosecutors Have Enough Evidence To Charge Biden’s Son With Multiple Crimes, Report Says

Federal prosecutors have reportedly gathered enough information to charge President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, with multiple crimes related to taxes and lying to investigators about a firearm purchase.

The Washington Post reported that federal agents “determined months ago” that they had a viable criminal case against the president’s son, but the agents do not have the ability to file charges. That ability lies solely with the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, a holdover from the Trump administration at the U.S. Justice Department

Now U.S. Attorney in Delaware, David C. Weiss, must determine whether to file criminal charges against 52-year-old Hunter Biden.

The federal criminal investigation into Hunter Biden began in 2018 and focused on financial matters stemming from his overseas business dealings. As the investigation grew, multiple agencies scrutinized whether he paid all the taxes that he was required to and whether he lied on an ATF Form 4473 background check while purchasing a firearm.

“A prosecutor can say they have bigger fish to catch, or they can decide to seek a deal,” Joseph G. Green, a retired ATF agent, said. “As agents, we would always include as many charges as we could, but it’s ultimately up to the prosecutor to decide which ones they will bring.”
