I don’t know what they’re putting in Joe Biden’s Wheaties this week, but he seemed to have a bit more pep in his step than usual during a trip to Manhattan last night. He even managed to make it through some (obviously prepared) comments on stage without too much trouble. The event was a fundraiser for him, of course, with tickets at the theater ranging from $250 to $7,500, and plenty of Broadway stars turned out to support him. So what was Uncle Joe’s pitch to get people to support his flailing reelection bid? Since he has virtually nothing to point to in his own record, he fell back on his favorite golden oldie.
