Leaked Clip Shows NBA Player Violently Attacking Teammate At Practice

The Golden State Warriors are reportedly furious that video leaked to the public this week that showed Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole during a scuffle at practice.

TMZ released the leaked tape showing Green “violently attacking” Poole, including “viciously punching him to the ground,” the report said.

One video posted online, which is featured below, racked up 30 million views on Twitter alone.

The report said that the two were trash talking each other before the altercation turned physical when Green got up in Poole’s face to the point where Poole had to shove Green.

The shove immediately ignited Green as he ran back at Poole and threw a punch at him, striking a blow to his face that sent him to the ground.

Teammates and staff were seen rushing in and separating the two.

ESPN reported that the team, led by outspoken leftist Steve Kerr, was taking “every legal course of action” to determine how the video leaked to TMZ.

“These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens,” general manager Bob Myers said Thursday. “Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room. … As far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally.”

One sports reporter said that some of the coaches, staff, and players were turned the other direction when the incident happened and thus they did not see it actually happen and did not realize how serious it was until the video was leaked.

“One of the things I have been told, when the Warriors’ leadership met with the team’s veterans over what to do about this situation, one of the concerns that the veterans had was that the first game of the season is ring night and any sort of suspension of a regular season game would have meant that Draymond potentially would have missed that important moment,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said Friday on SportsCenter. “So that might have been a factor in the Warriors deciding, at least not initially, to suspend him. Now there are preseason games between now and then and there could be other action taken, but the Warriors’ initial move when this became public was to search for how it was released more than anything.”
