Gisele Bündchen has been spotted visiting a holistic healer on several occasions and burning sage as rumors about her marriage ending persist.
The 42-year-old model has been married to NFL star Tom Brady for 13 years, but it’s believed they could be heading for divorce as both were seen recently sans wedding rings. They’re also believed to have hired divorce attorneys.
Bündchen recently visited the offices of Dr. Ewa Wieruszewska Lierle, a holistic healer located in Boca Raton, TMZ reported on Monday. Dr. Lierle’s website says she specializes in “the power of healing through natural and healthy alternatives or complements to western medicine” and hopes to “teach each patient about the natural healing powers they hold within.”
Bündchen and the healer were seen using a smudge stick and burning sage near the model’s car. Alternative healers burn sage to help spiritually cleanse and purify an area.
This isn’t the first time fans believed Brady and Bündchen, who share two children plus one son from Brady’s previous relationship, were breaking up. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel is allegedly fed up with her husband putting his football career first for so many years.
Page Six reported that Bündchen spoke with a divorce attorney in 2015 and possibly several times after. A source told the publication that the pair constantly fights and makes up.
“Tom and Gisele have separated before. Every couple of years they have a big fight and she has left Tom before, but she always came back,” the source told the publication. “They always worked through things, and Tom was hopeful they would do it again this time.”
Brady retired from the NFL earlier this year, then changed his mind and returned to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season. His wife was not happy but said she would support him either way.
“Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen said, as The Daily Wire previously reported. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
Though both Brady and Bündchen appear to have divorce lawyers, no official papers to dissolve their marriage have been filed yet. Brady celebrated his team’s win against the Atlanta Falcons Sunday by posting an Instagram story of himself and his son Jack at the game alongside an image of them fishing. “Great win and a perfect night,” the caption said. Bündchen notably did not attend the game.
