There have been a lot of bad takes regarding the border crisis over the last several years, but leave it to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to drop perhaps the dumbest “solution” to the problem I’ve ever heard.

While appearing on “The Daily Show,” a journalistic bastion if there ever was one, Ocasio-Cortez decided to let it be known that the real way to “fix” the border is to “document people.”
AOC’s solution to the border crisis:
“You can either fix it by trying to build a wall. Or you can fix it by documenting people.”
