Elon Musk’s X announced three new partnerships with media personalities on Monday as the platform seeks to move heavily into original entertainment.
The first partnership that X announced was with former CNN host Don Lemon, who was fired as the network sought to restore its credibility under then-CEO Chris Licht and amid reports of him allegedly disparaging women at work.
“We’re delighted to announce a new content partnership with @DonLemon for his new project, The Don Lemon Show,” X said in a statement. “The award winning TV journalist will share his unique and honest voice in 30 minute episodes, three times a week, covering politics, culture, sports and entertainment.
