Desiree Figueroa, 29, just pled guilty to helping her own mother, Clarisa Figueroa, murder 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez and cut her baby out of her womb back in 2019. No, this isn’t some sort of horror movie – it actually happened.
In April 2019, Ochoa-Lopez was reportedly promised free baby clothes from the Figueroa family after connecting via a Facebook group for pregnant women in Chicago’s Scottsdale area. All she had to do was go to their home to pick up the clothes.
The first time she visited on April 1, she left unharmed after Desiree Figueroa’s boyfriend found out that the Figueroas were planning to kill the teen mom and threatened to call the police, the Chicago Sun Times noted.
Three weeks later, Ochoa-Lopez wasn’t as lucky.
