We’ve seen climate protesters do a lot of crazy and annoying things, from throwing paint at art treasures to gluing their hands to the street. One of the most annoying things they do is block traffic, and frequently, drivers lose patience with them and then physically manhandle them to get them out of the way. That’s a particularly dumb move given that they can get hurt, and it also leads to more carbon emissions which they claim to be against. But they don’t seem to care about that when it comes to their own actions. So much for standing by their convictions — it shows it’s more about disrupting the order of things now.
But they pulled another dumb move on Thursday evening: getting too close to a presidential candidate. That’s guaranteed not to end well.
