Julia Roberts discussed her “G-rated career” and her refusal to do nude scenes for movies in a wide-ranging interview for British Vogue magazine’s February issue.
The 56-year-old actress told the outlet that things she chooses “not to do” in her professional life are what represent her, noting never doing nudity in movies.
“Not to be criticizing others’ choices, but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself,” Roberts said. “But in effect, I’m choosing not to do something as opposed to choosing to do something.”
Julia Roberts says being famous nowadays “seems so cluttered.”
“There are so many elements to being famous now, it just seems exhausting…it just seems more chaotic. There’s more elements, there’s more noise, there’s more outlets, there’s more stuff.”
